About Barry Lieberman

Barry has enjoyed the Lake Arrowhead area for decades as his parents & grandparents owned their vacation homes here since the ‘60's. Barry honeymooned here back in 1989 & finally moved up “full-time” with his wife & their 3 children. Their hobbies are obviously Mountain-based and range from Hiking, Biking, fishing, Skiing & camping in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Following in the traditions of generations before him, Barry enjoys being associated with & assisting The City of Hope, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

For instance, the number of Lake Arrowhead homes sold here in 2006 declined 48% compared to 2005, yet 2007 sales declined only 18%. Additionally, 2006 average home prices dropped 11%, while in 2007 the prices declined only 1%...  Which is very strong considering the National Real Estate scene.  Also of importance is that the “Median” home price actually increased 8% which proves that our buyers are more affluent than in years past & are desirous of buying the more expensive types of properties in Lake Arrowhead. 

As the Inland Empire continues to blossom economically, we will continue to have more full-time home buyers which also increases our average home prices. There are several very significant issues that will continue to drive that development such as the new San Bernardino Int’l Airport that is slated to open in 2008/2009.  The continued redevelopment of San Bernardino which has already brought in several very large employers such as Stater Brothers, FedEx, Mattel and others that will benefit from this central distribution area. Also the final completion of the 210 Freeway now offers a quick & direct route right from any of the foothill communities from Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Pasadena & Burbank.
